ABOUT PILATESPROP®️
Founded in 2011 by Dharak (Bo), Pilatesprop® was born from a deeply personal journey of transformation through Pilates. After the birth of her child, Bo turned to Pilates to regain her strength and wellbeing. Through consistent practice, she developed a profound understanding of the human body, improved her posture, regained physical confidence, relieved chronic neck and back pain, and experienced the life-changing benefits of mindful movement.
Inspired by these results, Bo began teaching Pilates in 2011. At the time, high-quality Pilates apparatus were expensive and difficult to access in Thailand. Determined to make professional Pilates education and equipment more accessible, she traveled to manufacturing facilities, worked closely with suppliers, and carefully developed equipment that met international standards while remaining affordable for the Thai market. In 2012, Pilatesprop® expanded into importing and distributing premium Pilates apparatus, supporting the growth of Pilates education throughout Thailand.
Bo’s commitment to movement education led her to the curriculum developed by PhysicalMind Institute®, whose teacher training materials were originally created in 1991 by TheMethodPilates®. Through self-practice and extensive study of the PhysicalMind methodology, she successfully recovered from chronic sciatic pain and experienced a remarkably smooth recovery following the Caesarean birth of her third child. These experiences reinforced her belief that movement is a powerful pathway to healing and inspired her to share this knowledge with others.
Seeking to bring internationally recognized education to Thailand, Bo contacted PhysicalMind Institute® in the United States and was honored to receive authorization and certification from its founder and director, Joan Breibart, to deliver the institute’s professional teacher training programs.
Believing that exceptional movement education requires a deep understanding of the human body, Bo continued her professional development by studying anatomy, fascia, therapeutic touch, psychology, counselling, and movement sciences with internationally respected organizations across the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
A significant milestone in her professional journey has been her advanced studies in Anatomy Trains®, founded by Thomas Myers. Through Anatomy Trains and Anatomy Trains Australia & New Zealand, Bo has expanded her expertise in myofascial anatomy, fascial lines, movement analysis, and structural relationships of the body. This knowledge has profoundly influenced the Pilatesprop® educational approach, enabling students to understand movement not only through muscular actions but also through the body’s interconnected fascial system. By integrating Anatomy Trains principles with Pilates apparatus training, functional movement, and therapeutic applications, Pilatesprop® prepares instructors to assess movement more effectively and create safer, more individualized exercise programs.
